2013. Each time January comes around I ask myself “what will the coming year hold?” After an interesting conversation with my friend Sean yesterday, I’ve decided that this year I will write down my goals and refer back to them as often as possible. It’s so easy for me to get lost in the day to day flurry of things, that perhaps putting pen to paper will inspire me to keep more on track. I’ve decided to set a goal for each area of my life….family, personal, professional and giving back to the community.
We have a few new additions to The Bean. A Lego Table is now a fixture in our activity center. We have new puzzles and new cars and trains. A new train table is coming soon.
Continue to follow us on Facebook. We’ll be having some great educational activities for kids.
I hope you and your family have a wonderful New Year!
It’s hard for me to believe that yet another year has gone by. Shockingly, my daughter, 9 yrs, has grown about 5 inches overnight and will soon be as tall as I am.
I hope that you and your family have made it in to see the changes at The Bean. We have added a wall with a half door to help keep your kiddos safer. We have also added Waffles, Cheesey Eggs and Toast and the Vegetarian Platter to our permanent menu, and have created a couple of delicious new specials for you tor try.
In keeping with my own New Year’s Resolution to lose some weight, my staff has created The New Year’s Resolution Latte and the Make it Slim option. Both are great ways to to enjoy your drink without all the calories and fat.
I wish you and you family the best in 2012.
Please come on in and say Hello!
This is my favorite time of year! I love the Christmas lights, spending special time with family and how excited my daughter gets about her visit with Santa, decorating, baking and, I suppose, presents. This Saturday I would encourage you to come to Country Village and enjoy the Christmas Lights, shopping, great food and drinks (at The Village Bean) and to witness Santa’s Arrival. At 7pm Santa will take flight across the parking lot and duck pond. It’s a fun sight to see. At The Bean, we will be hosting Northlake Montessori who will offer complimentary ornament making to kids. Ornament making begins at 11am. So, come on in for a visit. We’ll be waiting for you!
